Steel u-joints can cause a galvanic reaction that leads to corrosion in aluminum driveshaft yokes. MOOG® anti-galvanic u-joints feature chemically-coated bearing cups and snap rings that protect aluminum yokes.

Featuring a compressed double lip design to ensure more effective protection from contaminants; purgeable for longer life

2. Radial Design: 
Bearing cups utilize a radial design to allow 360° lubricant distribution to all bearing surfaces

3. Greaseable design
Allows for new grease to flush out contamination and moisture, reducing corrosion and wear

4. Corrosion-resistant bearing cup
Chemically-coated, corrosion-resistant bearing cups are cold-formed and case-hardened, then precision-ground for better wear and strength, then precision ground for optimal performance

5. Needle bearings
Precision-ground with spherical radius for maximum load-carrying capabilities

6. High-strength steel cross
Forged and carburized heat-treated for long life
